I was a broke and sick and almost at my death bed when suddenly it all changed because a strange and powerful eclipse hit the earth.
I John Mike 29 was diagnosed with leukemia, at first, it could still be treated with some medicines and some pills but as it progresses, I started get weak day by day up until to the point while I was working at my office I suddenly fell and was brought to the hospital.
After a few hours I woke up and my buddy Jim has stayed with me and noticed that I was already woken up he asked me "how are you man? You got me worried sick when you collapsed in front of our boss" I'm still kind a sore right now as I tried to sit down a doctor said that I should better lay down at my bed he asked me if I am taking some medicines and I said "yes doc" then the doctor replied "so are aware of your situation do you" I nodded and it's obvious that my buddy Jim was the one who was being confused at the situation do the doctor asked me if I would I want to tell to reveal my findings, and I said "go ahead doc" "Mr. Mike you have stage 3 leukemia, apparently those medications you're taking are quite effective on slowing down the cancer but not entirely stopping it, but still you have a chance for chemo therapy since it is not yet still the last stage what do you think" the doctor said I replied "let me think about it for some time doc the news kind a heavy so I need some time to process it" "I understand Mr. Mike but then again we are racing with your own health in here so if you could decide to go for chemo as fast as you could you should because although it's not 100% guaranteed it will buys some time to at least looks for new solutions but if things goes perfect by the chemo alone you can be cured. Anyways Mr. Mike I don't want to take a lot more of your personal time so call us up for the update in your decision" me and him thanked him as he go
out of the room Jim asked " Man how long did you hide that you have leukemia?" "It's been four months now" I replied "four months? That completely insane man" he shouts "Could you pipe it down? And besides I know how grave this cancer is if it's only the treatable one's I would have some 65% survival chance but mine was aggressive so they said I only have 15 to 20 percent chance to live." We sat there in complete silence then I suddenly spoke "Man I don't want to die I want to fight for it and if it claims me then at least I fallen like a true fighter, right?" "Of course you're man, you're one of the bravest fighters I know in this life".
So the next day I called the hospital and said that I would take the chemo therapy and start as early as I can, I want to defeat this Illness I want to fight this absolute challenge so I braced myself while shaving my head instead of feeling down I felt a fire grew larger and larger inside so when we started it I was full of determination and as I go through my first session I was still fighting for hope, the hope that I could survive despite the chances more sessions came I saw myself lose weight from a semi -muscular build down to skin and
bones now even eating was so hard, My iron will slowly was being shattered day by day. The next day the doctor came with a gloomy face and a result and hen he said " I know Mr. Mike I shouldn't show any hints of disdain in my face but with all our efforts the cancer couldn't stop growing now we are at stage 4 and we couldn't do anything but there is still one thing we could try, there is a Medical trials for cancer patients we could enlist you there so you could at least try to see if things could get better, I smile and told him " Nah give the slot towards the other patients it could be the light of their hope, because frankly speaking my body couldn't keep up with my will I could still fight but my body just can't so let's just give it to the younger okey?.
